WEBINARS: Getting started on eTwinning (1 hour)

Who: These sessions are open to all UK teachers of pupils aged 3-19 years.

eTwinning Live
What: This webinar will be on eTwinning Live; how to set up your profile, edit your school, add contacts, search for projects and partners, planning your project, and discussing different types of projects.

Introduction to the TwinSpace: Building better pages 
What: The eTwinning TwinSpace is a free and secured online space where teachers can invite pupils (and guests such as governors or other teachers) to upload project work. Pages can be made public or private. This will be the first of two TwinSpace webinars and will cover; how to set up a project TwinSpace; adding pages; partners and guests; Twinboards; polls and discussions; uploading materials.

How to teach sustainability without talking about climate change: a history of the impacts of fashion, plastic and food
Who: Teachers and educational professionals across all subject areas, who wish to address climate crisis and environmental sustainability with their pupils.
What: For many students, climate change and biodiversity loss can feel very abstract. Addressing the ecological issues our planet and humanity are facing through concrete subjects related to everyday consumption habits such as fashion, plastic and food, allow students to relate easier and feel more concerned about what they can actually do to positively impact the environment.

Project-Based Learning to Enhance Key Competences
Who: Teachers and educational professionals across all subject areas, who have interest in Project-Based Learning.
What: This new School Education Gateway MOOC will introduce the basics of what project-based learning (PBL) is, and why and how it is relevant to introduce it in your teaching to enhance key competences of your students! Put the students at the centre of the learning process by giving them real-life problems to solve in a facilitated small group setting. Learn how to apply PBL to your own learning environment.

Who: Teachers and educational professionals across all subject areas, who are new on eTwinning and are interested in ICT.
What: This eTwinning 12 weeks course on Moodle is addressed at teachers who are new and who are willing to learn more about online pedagogy, digital tools and wish to take the most out of the eTwinning platform to boost their teaching skills.
